This is a beginner's guide to professions. One of the most reliable ways to earn WOW Classic Gold for Sale in World of Warcraft is through using professions wisely. However, to a new player, the profession system can seem very complex and overwhelming. Although there is a lot to learn, all professions follow a few simple rules.
Herbalism and Alchemy, without a shadow of a doubt. Clearly, you’d pick Herb as your gathering prof and Alch as your crafting one. These two professions complement each other incredibly well and by combining them you’ll be maximizing your gold earning potential. Let’s now take a closer look at each profession:
Many an enchanter knows that disenchanting is a great way to make some extra coin. Disenchant your useless green/blue/purple items, sell the parts, make gold. One huge advantage of selling enchanting mats is that you do not have to undercut prices. Why?
Most enchanting mats sell quickly, especially those for the more desireable spells,, and
there’s very little deposit. So unless you really need a quick sale you can price them well above the lowest price and they’ll still sell, eventually, and there’s no cost to reposting them. Of course, if there are 500 stacks priced below yours you might have a long wait for that sale.
Buying parts that are priced too low and reselling them is a tried and true method for profit.
Buy cheap green items, disenchant them, make a profit by selling the parts.
Everyone wants enchantments, especially the PvP and raiding crowds. A tried and true method of making gold is to offer your services in chat. Your services free (“buyer” brings the mats) and tips are appreciated. Just like in a restaurant, fast and friendly service gets more tips.
Check prices for the enchant scrolls and if they look good then buy some vellums, enchant some scrolls, and post them on the AH. If you can get a deal on the mats you may be able to make some bucks with the scrolls. High end enchant scrolls can make you some nice money if you can get the materials cheap.
With patch 5.4 enchants are no longer limited to a weapon’s item level. You can apply Dancing Steel to a level 1 weapon, for example. This should increase the demand for the high end enchants a bit (as they can be applied to heirlooms and such) and dampen the demand for lower end enchantss
With Warlords the top level enchants sell well and your garrison enchanter’s hut will be a big help. Note that if you have the hut you can sell a variety of enchants without actually having the skill.
While this profession may be overlooked nowadays for its lack of uses, many miss the opportunity that lies with it. Engineers make some of the finest, and sometimes random, toys as well as unique mounts. After all, who doesn’t want nitro boosts added to their boots?
Why Engineering is Highly Useful:
Toys, such as the classic Blingtron, which has now been upgraded to fight other Blingtrons to the death to declare the champion of Blingtrons.
Mounts, such as the Mecha-Mogul Mk2 and more.
Variety of assistants, such as the Deployable Attire Rearranger and Interdimensional Companion Repository.
Engineer-only perks that include Bind on Pickup Helms that increase engineering and Belt Enchantments.
Tailoring is mostly used as a means for casters to eventually craft some specific pieces of BoP gear, and less about making gold. You can make some income by using
Mooncloth to create
Mooncloth Bag, but it will not be very profitable.
Herbalism is one of the most useful gathering professions with mining being a close second and then skinning coming in third place. Pairing this with Alchemy is notably the ideal combination for Battle for Azeroth. While you may not be a nature-loving druid, Herbalism is still a very handy gathering profession with several different applications in-game.
Why Herbalism is Highly Useful:
Great for making money on the Auction House by selling older mats that are no longer needed or selling the newer mats if you do not need them.
Pairs perfectly with Alchemy or Inscription, as both professions require herbs.
Mats tend to be a sight for sore eyes since they can be found rather commonly in all areas.
Farming can be very simple and straightforward, especially if one can fly around.
Rogues use Swiftthistle to make Thistle Tea, which is extremely helpful in restoring their expended energy.
Like the other professions used to make your own gear there aren’t many sellable goods from tailoring. Too many crafters and not enough demand. You’ll likely find even desired items require several auction house listing to sell. The fees from that ruin your profit margin.
If you want to try out a market check out Runecloth Bags. But their prices fluctuate during the week, so be sure when you do list them it is for a profit.
Mooncloth – Your most reliable gold maker, but it is on a 4-day cooldown. Making the profit per day the worst between tailoring, leatherworking, and alchemy cooldowns. Still, gold is gold so take what you can get. Unlike Arcanite transmutes if someone offers ~10 gold for your cooldown you should consider selling it. The cost of Felcloth is significant, so you may be better off selling the cooldown than buying mats and selling the Mooncloth yourself.
Tailoring 250 (requires level 35 or above)
9 gold profit selling your own Mooncloth, accept 9-10 gold offers to buy your cooldown
Pattern: Mooncloth is sold by a Vendor in Everlook, Winterspring
Alchemy can be expensive to level, but has a high payoff. Unlike Skinning, Alchemy will continue to be profitable throughout all of WoW Classic, and will eventually become S-Tier as more people reach level 60 and start to raid, most likely around phase 2 or 3. The best way to make money as an Alchemist is to craft potions, elixirs, and flasks to sell on the Auction House. The best crafting choices are listed below. The most profitable potions to craft come down to knowing what the most popular consumables are that people use during raids, specifically Molten Core.
For the best possible profit margins, you should pair this with Herbalism. Additionally, timing is also incredibly important. Most guilds raid on Tuesday or Wednesday nights (depending on your reset day), which means most people will be looking to buy these consumables on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. To make the most gold, you will want to craft and stock up on potions throughout the week, and then list them with an 8 hour duration on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon at a premium.
It's important to understand that Gold is a lot harder to make in the Classic version of World of Warcraft, you can Buy WOW Classic Gold in some stores when your inventory is in short supply, as you can't do all the quests on your own. Here is a good store to trade gold, https://www.igvault.com/WOW-Classic-Gold , becoming the nice assistant while playing. You are worried about the price and security, with this in mind, it can be guaranteed on the site, which is cheaper than other stores and protected by a security system.
